At 4pm opposition leader Jean Pierre Fabre ordered that protesters gather at Dekon and start marching to the presidency. They were blocked by militaries and policemen. So they decided to remain there until faure leaves and relinquish power. By 6pm, people started going home and brought the food, cooking ustensils and matresses.

At exactly 10.30pm, they ordered the police and militaries to disperse the protesters and they started shooting tear gas and rubber bullets. People resisted for hours.

By 1am, most people went home but then when the repression stoped people came back around 2 in the morning and decided to spend the night on the field.

The first two days of the protests were absolutely peaceful and pleasant. But yesterday the regime has decided to break the peace and use violence to stop the revolt.

In northern city of Bafilo, red berets military commando were deployed to repress protesters and they started shooting around 8pm.
